Our Chemistry Intensive Revision Course (IRC) is the ideal way to prepare for your final HSC exams.

Over 4 days, you will revise the entire course (including option module). During class, our teacher will also focus on teaching you the best exam techniques, such as:

• Knowing the exact examiner requirements of each exam keyword: 'Describe', 'Explain', 'Justify', 'Outline', 'Assess', 'Evaluate', 'Discuss' and more

• How to structure your answers according to a marking criteria

• Tips, tricks and shortcuts on calculation topics to speed you up in exams

• Summarisation of main points, issues and arguments for harder essay topics in Chemistry 

• Summarisation of main points of harder concepts in Chemistry

Teaching style

Our class teachers will cover the course content with the assumption that students are familiar with basic and intermediate concepts. The course begins with revision, where our teachers will cover the entire syllabus, including the option module.

In order to revise the entire course, harder topics will be covered in greater detail than easier topics. Our teachers will then spend time each lesson talking about effective exam technique (as described above). You will also learn about avoiding costly errors, how to answer harder question types, and alternative ways of structuring answers (such as use of tables, in-line diagrams etc).

If you do a different Option Module, you can still enrol for this course, and not attend the option topic class for a reduced cost. See below.

Summary notes

Students will receive a set of summary notes that conceptually summarises the main points of the entire HSC Chemistry course.

Cost

Total cost for the Chemistry Intensive Revision Course is $300. Receive 10% off if you enrol before the 20th of September.

If you do a different option module to the ones offered, you can attend for the first 3 and a half days where we talk about exam techiques, and modules 1-3. The cost will be $262.50 in this case.
