Intensive Revision Course summary notes

Students who enrol in our Intensive Revision Courses (IRCs) receive a set of summary notes covering the entire course. Our summary notes are developed by our Head of Science, and cover the important points of the whole course, going into detail for areas that are likely to be tested in the form of harder questions in the actual HSC exams.

Note that during the classes of these courses, the teacher will spend time going through the course content, but also focus on exam techniques, such as:

  • Exact examiner requirements for each exam keyword: 'Describe', 'Explain', 'Outline', 'Assess', 'Evaluate' etc
  • Structuring answers in terms of the marking criteria
  • How to get full marks for long questions
  • Tips, tricks and shortcuts for calculation methods
