Our Year 9 Headstart Science provides a strong foundation in conceptual understanding and practical skills required in the Stage 5 science syllabus. Students get early exposure to senior exam-style questions, practice exam papers and extended response questions that students often find challenging as they transition into senior years.
Students often find the transition into senior years to be a sudden 'leap' in increased difficulty - our aim is to make this transition easier through early development in skills and knowledge that's relevant to science in years 10-12.
The earlier students start taking their study seriously, the better their results will be at the end of year 12, and our year 9 Science course is designed with the HSC in mind.
